Smart Technology in Care Homes: October 2023

Building on the success of Phase 1 in 2021, where we invited care homes in Torbay and South Devon to familiarise themselves and their residents with smart technology devices, in October 2023 we kicked off Phase 2. This phase is dedicated to integrating Alexa into residents' daily lives, with the ultimate vision of empowering care home residents for both physical and mental well-being. We're working closely with care home staff, residents, and families, leveraging their insights and stories to create informative resources and accessible support guides for the smooth integration of Alexa.

Phase 2 is made possible through the generous funding of Torbay Council Control Outbreak Management Fund, in partnership with Enhanced Health in Care Homes for Torbay and South Devon.
