Join us on the 17th March at 2pm for our next Sharing Best Practice session.
We will be joined by two guests this month:
As a care provider, you know how important it is to have access to good information about the people you support and your staff. In order to store and share that information safely, you need to be confident that your paper and digital records are secure. We'll firstly be joined by Richard Jackson from ClearComm to discuss why data security is so important and what impact good data security practices can have on a care home.
We’ll also hear from Dr Lucy Pollock, a geriatrician who works at Taunton’s Musgrove Hospital. Her publication “The Book About Getting Older” is a wonderful journey through her own experiences as a doctor, whilst addressing some of the key issues. From TEPs to treatment, polypharmacy to person centred care; she navigates through some of the questions that relatives and residents often find hard to ask. She’s passionate about healthy ageing and injects the same sense of humour we all find in our daily experiences in care.
