DCHC Nutrition & Hydration Course

DCHC invite you to register for the DCHC Chefs' Club Nutrition & Hydration Champion Training.

Open to Chefs and Care/Clinical/Management team - suggested 1 chef & 1 other from each Setting.

6 x 90min sessions from the 30th September every fortnight by Zoom.

Topics follow a Nutritional Strategy for best practice and include Dysphagia & IDDSI, Nutritional Screening and fortification, Nutrition Care planning and Choice, Mealtime experience, Menu planning, Hydration, ..

Using a "Champion" approach aims to promote a whole team approach to good nutrition and hydration care which will require the support of the Home Manager or their deputy.
