Older Person's Fee Model - Project Update Engagement Events (multiple dates)

Following the feedback given to us at the Care Home Forum on 24 September, we have planned a series of engagement events focused on specific topics relating to the Older Person’s Fee Model Review. The sessions will be 90 minutes in length, with relevant information shared with providers prior to the events. 

Session 1: Service Descriptors 

Date: Tuesday, 12 November 

Time: 14:00 - 15:30 

We have been gathering feedback on all aspects of the service descriptors from providers and stakeholders since the launch event in March. This session is an opportunity for you to provide further feedback and for you to ask questions on the updated versions, see below:

Before the session, please consider: 

• Sharing the service descriptors with those responsible for assessments and reviews in your organisation to gather their opinions. 

• Testing the descriptors internally against current service users to see how they work in practice.

Session 2: Residential and Nursing Service Specification and KPIs

We have updated the service specifications using the provider feedback we received by 9 September and developed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which will be sent to you before the event. We also seek your views on any transition arrangements.

This session will be shaped in line with the feedback and discussions that emerge from Session 1 and Session 2 and will provide a further opportunity for conversation and questions to be heard and responded to on the service descriptors and Residential and Nursing Service Specification and KPIs.
