Skills for Care: Being prepared for CQC assessment seminar

Overview:

This one-day facilitated session brings together frontline managers to learn about the step-by-step ways to be ready to evidence that your service meets CQC expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating.

Understanding the CQC assessment process and how you can evidence that the quality of care complies with the national standards is important for the people you support, staff teams and the wider reputation of your service. 

Some of the subjects covered include:

• Why assessment is important
• CQC standards and legislation
• CQC Single Assessment Framework
• CQC monitoring and assessment process, including ratings
• Involving others in the assessment process
• The importance of quality assurance
• Evidencing that you meet CQC standards
• Latest insight into CQC priorities

Everyone attending this seminar will receive a range of practical resources to support their learning including a 70-page practical toolkit covering key learning and practical activities to use in the workplace.

• Understand successful approaches to being ready and learn to map out how your service can prepare your staff for CQC assessment

This seminar is primarily aimed at those less familiar with the CQC assessment process who are looking to become better prepared and more confident.
